We just got back from a trip to the mountains and had a great time! First, we went to Hardee's and picked up some chicken (the real thing...not just nuggets!). I learned how to gnaw on a drumstick! We had a picnic up in the mountains on a cement table and the leaves were beautiful!
Next, we went to an old mountain farm where you can walk around and see an old farmhouse, a barn and a chicken coop! Daddy and I played a bingo game where you find things to check off. We saw a mountain stream and a root cellar and I got to climb on some rocks.
Next, we went to a real apple orchard on top of a mountain. It sure was high up! I never saw so many apples! There were red ones and yellow ones and even pink ones! Daddy and Diddy got the ones up high in the trees and I got the ones that fell on the ground! We brought lots home to eat. My favorite part of the orchard was the hayride behind a tractor. You could almost reach out and grab apples off the trees! It was lots of fun!
I slept most of the way home because I had a long day! Just three more days until Halloween and I can't wait to go trick or treating! How do you like my costume (picture below?) I'm going to be Belle, the princess from "Beauty and the Beast." If you see me coming, get out your candy!
