Hooray!
They just found out that my new cousin to be born this fall is a GIRL, JUST LIKE ME! Her name is Abigail and we're going to call her Abbey for short! She already has her own blog at -- http://abbeymack.blogspot.com Check it out!
I can't WAIT until Christmas when Abbey, McKinley and I will all get to play together for the first time!
Let's see...I'll get some new clothes and hand down some of my old clothes to McKinley and McKinley will get some new clothes and hand down some of her old clothes to Abbey. We can play "dress-up" forever!
On a sad note, I went to my first funeral last week. My Great-Great Aunt Margie went to Heaven. I never got to meet her, but Granddaddy says she was a special lady and she LOVED kids because she never had any of her own. It was a nice service. I tried to be quiet, but Mommy and I had to leave early anyway.
After the funeral, we got to go to Parker's, home of the World's Best Barbecue! Daddy, Granddaddy, Great-Uncle Dale and Great-Uncle Greg all got Large Combinations, which included chopped pork barbecue, fried chicken, cole slaw, brunswick stew, boiled potatoes, hush puppies and corn sticks. Yum, yum! I have a couple of new teeth and thought I could dig in like the big people, but they said I had to stick with my baby food for now.
Only one picture to post this time. I'll have more for you next time. See you soon!

He Is Risen!
Even though I was born in April, this was my first Easter!
I went to see a giant Easter Bunny at our local shopping mall and got to sit in his lap. I wasn't scared at all...until he put his giant paw on me and that's when I screamed for Mommy!
On Sunday, Mommy, Daddy and I went to the early service at our church and saw an Easter Egg Hunt they had afterwards. Then, we came to Granddaddy and Grammy's church for their service. Finally, went to my Great Grammy's house for Easter dinner.
The big people had lots of good stuff like ham, Jello salad, sweet potatoes and White House rolls. Mommy gave me some of her roll and some sweet potatoes.
Then, we went out in the front yard for pictures. The ground was wet, so Daddy got me a piece of cardboard to sit on next to the flowers. Grammy gave me some plastic eggs and a basket to play with and it was lots of fun!
Granddaddy and Grammy gave me a fuzzy singing chicken for Easter, too!

First Birthday Weekend
Whew! What a weekend!
I'm still recovering from the Best Birthday Ever! Thanks, Mom and Dad and everybody else who worked to make my first birthday the greatest!
On Friday, my real birthday, we all went to Chuck E. Cheese and I got to ride on all of their rides (see pictures below). There were lots and lots of other kids, even some with the same birthday as me! I even got to kiss Chuck on the nose!
But Saturday was the Big Day. I invited 45 people to my birthday party and they came from all over. Daddy cooked chicken, hamburgers and hot dogs for everybody. They even rented a Moon Walk blow-up thing that the older kids bounced around in! I got to see lots of my aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. They gave me lots and lots of presents and I have enough new clothes to fill out my spring ensemble! I think the best part, though, was when Mommy let me dig into the Elmo cake she made me. That was FUN! We all laughed when she took me upstairs for a bath afterwards!
It's been quite a year and I can't believe I'm One already! I'm sorry I haven't updated my blog enough for some of you. But, Granddaddy says, this year, he'll send you an e-mail when I update it, if you want him to. Just send your address to: RDavis456@comcast.net and he'll put you on the list. That way, you won't have to check my site every day.
Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a Blessed Easter!
