What a great holiday! We went to Christmas services at our church, lots of our relatives were in town and we got to open toys, toys and more toys!
I had lots of pretty "Baby's First Christmas" clothes to wear. Guess I'll have to hand them down to somebody else. Oh, guess what? I have a brand-new 2nd cousin! McKinley Gail was born on December 21 in Memphis! I can't wait to see her and give her some tips on growing up!
Boy, I've never seen so many camera flashes as I did this weekend! Seems everybody wanted to take MY picture! I've posted some of them below. Granddaddy says one of his favorite gifts is a picture of a child's hands folded in prayer and it says, "And thank You for my Grandpa." But, he says it made him cry when he saw it! Does he like it or not?!? Mom and Dad also gave them grandparent sweatshirts, but it's too warm to wear them yet!
My favorite part of Christmas was opening the presents. I enjoyed tearing the paper off of things and putting it into my mouth. Daddy spent a lot of time digging paper out of my mouth. I also liked chewing on the boxes stuff came in. Mommy spent a lot of time taking the boxes away from me. So, I had to settle for chewing on the new toys. They say I'm teething, because I get kind of moody sometimes (Granddaddy says I sound like a fire engine!) They still want me to "crawl," but I don't know why. I get everywhere I need to go by rolling over and over and over!
Tonight, we're all going to get our picture taken at J.C. Penney, then we're all going out to eat. It's great to have Uncle Daniel and Aunt Christy here with us. They like my new house!
I hope you had a Merry Christmas and took time out to thank God for sending Baby Jesus to us as the Best Gift ever given!
I love you and He does, too!
