I hope you had a good Mother's Day. We sure did!
After church, we took Mommy, Grammy, Ma, G-G (Great-Grandma) and Aunt Gail out to eat. We usually go to Julian's, but they closed down, so we went to Max and Erma's. We had some good food and even a cake that Aunt Gail brought to the restaurant!
Last night, we went to the cemetery to see Pappy's gravesite and also to feed the ducks. Except they didn't have any ducks, but just two families of geese. They were so cute! They ate our bread, even though it was stale! Granddaddy and Daddy saw a rabbit and Daddy tried to get a picture of it with his new cellphone camera.
We've been able to see Granddaddy and Grammy EVERY DAY for the past two weeks because the air conditioning went out at our house and we're staying with them! Every night and on the weekends, I get to play outside with Granddaddy and he puts me to bed every night. We have a game we play where I hide Andy's bottle (Andy is one of my doll babies) and Granddaddy tries to find it. He's so funny and I laugh at him a lot!
Mommy hasn't been feeling too good some days because of my little brother or sister growing in her tummy. And Daddy slipped on a wet floor at work the other day and his elbow and back are sore. We had to buy a new tire and a new air conditioner for Mommy's car. Daddy says, "When it rains, it pours," but I haven't seen a lot of rain, so I don't know what he's talking about!

Happy Birthday To Me!
I really think I'm going to like being TWO YEARS OLD!
Saturday was my birthday and we had a party at Diddy and Grammy's house. Grammy made posters with pictures of my first two years and put them up in the dining room. My, how I've grown in just two years!
I got lots of nice presents and I'm having lots of fun playing with them (and wearing them!). Daddy and Mommy gave me a doll house with a daddy, mommy, baby, a bathtub, a potty, and a doorbell and telephone that you can push to make real sounds!
'Member last year, when Mommy made me an Elmo cake and I ate it with my hands? This year, Mommy made me a Cookie Monster cake and I used a fork (I'm more of a lady now!) It was delicious!
But, Elmo was still a special guest at my party! I got a blow-up Elmo that's as tall as I am! He had a little fan in his back that kept him blown up for the whole party!
I was pretty tired Saturday night, after my Chuck E. Cheese party and then the other one!
Know what? The Easter Bunny came to my house Saturday night and he left me a basket with lots of candy! Did he come to see you, too?
We got up and got dressed in our Easter clothes, then went to church. I made Diddy wear my Easter hat and people kept pointing at us and laughing. I thought he looked good in my hat!
I stayed in the nursery and we heard all about Jesus coming back to life on Easter morning. I'm sure glad He did, aren't you?
After church, we all went to Ma's house and had an Easter dinner, with ham and turkey and green beans and dressing and gravy and my new favorite: cranberry sauce! After lunch, we gave Grammy a birthday cake that Ma had made because Wednesday will be Grammy's birthday! I hope she has as good a time celebrating her birthday as I did mine!
Sunday afternoon, we went over to Caroline Grace's house and had an Easter Egg Hunt in her backyard. She and I got a head start over the bigger kids and we got lots of plastic eggs with surprises inside! It was kind of cold outside, so I had to wear a jacket.
All in all, it was quite a weekend and I'm already looking forward to next year, when I turn THREE!

Tomorrow's The Big Day!
Know what? Tomorrow I'm going to be two whole years old! Can you believe it? We're going to have another party at Chuck E. Cheese and then a party at Diddy (that's what I call Granddaddy now) and Grammy's house! I think I like birthday parties!
Guess what I can do? I can put on my socks all by myself! And it's a good thing because I like to take them off so much! Everybody claps when I get them on right, which is most of the time!
Did you know the Easter Bunny comes on Sunday? He's going to bring lots of eggs and candy! I've been practicing hunting for Easter eggs because we've been invited to an Easter Egg hunt Sunday afternoon at my cousin Caroline Grace's house. First, we're going to go to church. Then, we're going to Ma's house for lunch. Then, we're going to take pictures. Then, we're going to cousin's house. Won't it be fun?
Since we've had some warm days lately, I've been able to spend more time outdoors. Diddy lets me climb up in his tree fort with him. He says he built it with Daddy and Aunt Christy when they were kids like me!
Diddy also showed me how to blow on a dandelion and make it fly away. I call it "bubbles" because that's what it looks like. He says it makes more weeds when we do that, but he says that's okay. We have lots of fun together!
Well, I have to get to bed because I think I hear Peter Cottontail hoppin' down the Bunny Trail!
Nite-nite!

Communication!
Finally!
Now I can tell people what I want! For example, I woke up Saturday morning and said, "Want Ma!" and "Want Granddaddy!" So, Mommy and Daddy called to see if we could all have lunch on Sunday after church and that's just what we did! I got to see Ma (one of my great-grandmommies) and Granddaddy, as well as Grammy at the restaurant! They ordered mac 'n cheese for me to eat, but I liked snatching fries from Granddaddy's plate better! Grammy brought me a brand-new puzzle that I like putting together. It has an elephant and a butterfly and a bird and an apple! After lunch, we went to Ma's house and planted some little pine trees in her backyard. That was fun, because Granddaddy let me step on the shovel to help him out!
When we got to Granddaddy and Grammy's house, I walked inside and asked, "Where's Abbey? Where's Dan? and Where's Christy?" They were right there last time I was there, but I guess they went back home. We had fun together while they were here and I hope they come back soon!
Know what? Mommy and Daddy got me a tricycle for my birthday and Daddy put it together and they gave it to me two weeks early! Daddy's a good putter-together and he even did it while basketball was on TV!
I like to ride my new bicycle, but I also like to ride Daddy and Granddaddy when they pretend they're horsies! Granddaddy only takes me for rides on the carpet, 'cause he says the tiles hurt his knees!
Yep, my birthday's coming up and I'm going to be TWO YEARS OLD! Can you believe it?
Hope you enjoy the pictures below. Hope you're enjoying springtime as much as me!
